About Abode Tours
A grass-root community-based tourism project established in 2002
offering home stays in remote communities and tours off the beaten track,
enhancing traveler experiences supporting the local people of Laggala and Mannar regions in Sri Lanka.
Our community based organization specializes in trips and tours for visitors wanting to go beyond the standard guidebook offers. For people who are willing to go with the flow, live in basic conditions and learn more about remote communities, the history, mystical and fabulous aspects of the country.
